Our Staff


Karen, Practice Manager
Karen has been the Practice Manager at Wil-O-Paw since 2011. She is responsible for making sure you and your pet have a great experience at Wil-O-Paw. Please feel free to email her at [email protected] if you have any comments or concerns about our staff or hospital. Karen and her husband, Jeff, are the parents of two daughters, Becky and Michelle. Her furry family consists of Wrigley (the dog she’s holding), and two great cats. Outside activities including gardening, antiquing, involvement at Christ Lutheran Church in Stevensville and spoiling her two grandchildren.

Kathy, Patient Care Coordinator
After being a veterinary technician for 20+ years, Kathy is loving her new role as a Patient Care Coordinator. Kathy has a keen interest in behavioral medicine and has attended advanced obedience courses. Kathy enjoys going to veterinary conferences and learning about the new advances in veterinary medicine, especially those pertaining to cats, and how to implement them into the hospital. Kathy has one daughter, Andrea, and owns 6 cats, 2 dogs. She also is involved in pet-sitting in her spare time. Kathy enjoys, reading and is always studying and learning new things.

Camille, Patient Care Coordinator
Camille joined our Wil-O-Paw family last spring as a PCC. She enjoys meeting all the new patients and getting to know all our long-term clients. Her favorite part of vet medicine is working with the animals and educating owners on how to best care for their animals. Camille has also become our expert in everything to do with our on-line store. She lives with her family (parents, sister, brother and grandma) and has a VERY large animal family too! There are 6 dogs, 7 cats, 4 snakes and one bearded dragon. Her household is filled with lots of love and chaos! Camille enjoys hanging out with friends, playing with all her animals, watching game shows and is currently studying to become a licensed veterinary technician.

Jamie, Patient Care Coordinator
As a PCC, Jamie has the privilege of not only being able to help animals but being able to watch them grow over the years. She loves to work with our patients and build lasting relationships with our clients. That’s what makes her a great Patient Care Coordinator! She was born and raised in Kalamazoo and lives there currently with her two sons, Payton and Kaiden, a 12-year-old Shepherd named Lilly and a brand new adorable mixed breed puppy (yet to be named!). When not working, she spends time with her family and pets and loves watching movies and traveling.

Kelley, Patient Care Coordinator
As a PCC, Kelley gets to do what she loves best: come together with the Wil-O-Paw staff to better the lives of pets and to provide great education to our clients. She loves to help animals and be their voices and to learn new best practices in veterinary medicine. Kelley has taken over our Facebook posting and is always looking for great pics of your pets to post. She and her husband, Chris, are busy restoring their 100-year-old farmhouse and taking care of their two cats, Birdie and Warren. Kelley is very creative and enjoys photography, woodworking, gardening and rock hounding!

Madison, Patient Care Coordinator
Madison is our newest staff member, having joined our team in December 2024. She moved here after living in Alaska and Arizona and is getting used to Southwest Michigan. Her passion for animals started growing up on a farm in Alaska. Madison worked for several years in a veterinary office in Alaska and loves being able to make a difference in the care animals receive and improve the experience their owners receive. She loves to spoil her six-year-old tuxedo cat named Elise and likes to hike, read and play video games.

Jessica, Veterinary Technician/Patient Care Coordinator
Jessica wears two hats with us depending on the day- technician and PCC! She is an accredited veterinary technician assistant and would like to be a licensed technician. Her entry into the veterinary world came from having a problematic dog with skin issues who visited the vet a lot. This made her realize she would love to work in a vet office to figure out how to best serve other animals. She loves understanding animal behavior and finding ways to alleviate suffering in animals. Jess has years of hands-on training but still wants to continue her education so she can be her best self. Her four children (three boys and a girl) and her four pets keep her super busy at home. In the little spare time she has, Jess likes to be outside camping, fishing, and going on walks with her family and beating the boys at video games!

Alicia, Licensed Veterinary Technician
After receiving her bachelor’s in zoology from Michigan State University, Alicia found her true passion in veterinary medicine. She went on to becoming a licensed veterinary technician and loves surgery, anesthesia and helping calm anxious pets. Alicia joined Wil-O-Paw in August 2021 and is enjoying getting to know our great clients and their pets. Outside of work, Alicia keeps busy with her husband and daughter, Emersyn and two dogs, Chelly and Bandit.

Misty, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Misty recently moved here from Virginia, and we are very happy to have her on our staff! She has an associate’s degree in veterinary technology and is our expert in Fear Free as she has her elite certification. Besides Fear Free she is knowledgeable in animal behavior and nutrition and loves helping our patients and educating our clients. When not at work, Misty loves to read, travel, hike, kayak and scuba dive with her husband. Edan, and take care of her dog, Chloe and cats, Kona and Kailua and Dino, an algae eater.

Beth, Veterinary Technician
Beth is a dedicated veterinary technician who has been part of the Wil-O-Paw Animal Hospital team since January 2012. Eager to enhance her professional qualifications, she is currently pursuing her licensure as a veterinary technician. Beth’s commitment to excellence is evident in her academic achievements; she recently graduated summa cum laude with her veterinary technician Associate of Science degree, letting her provide the highest standards of care for pets. At Wil-O-Paw, she can focus on her true passion: ensuring the health and well being of animals. Beth is passionate about continued education, always striving to stay informed about the latest advancements in veterinary care and best-practice medicine. This pursuit of knowledge reflects her devotion to improving patient outcomes and ensuring her patients receive the best care possible. Outside of work, she and her husband are proud parents of four children and one grandchild, who bring joy and liveliness to their family life. Additionally, Beth is an active member of her church community.

Miranda, Veterinary Technician
Miranda, a Brown Mackie Veterinary Technician graduate, has been at Wil-O-Paw since May of 2018. She said the most rewarding part of being a tech is helping patient’s get better after an illness. Outside of work, you can find her outdoors! Miranda loves to kayak and paddle board in the summer. But her favorite time of year is deer season, where she does bow and gun hunting!

Chrystal, Veterinary Technician
Chrystal joined us in September 2021 and was quickly put to work as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. She has her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and now she studying to become a licensed veterinary technician. Chrystal loves seeing and learning all about your pets. When not at work, you can find her outside camping, hiking, fishing or reading a good book. She has two beautiful cats named Dobby, Yam yam and two dogs named Kalani, Rocca.

Kati, Veterinary Technician Assistant
Kati has the challenging job of assisting the technicians and doctors with everything they need to practice great medicine. She learned her skills through the Ross Medical Education Center and is a certified veterinary technician assistant. She says that being an assistant allows her to show her passion for animals and her desire to make a difference in the lives of pets. She finds it rewarding working with our great team at Wil-O-Paw helping
animals live healthier, happier lives. At home, she loves playing with her two great dogs, Corona, a Pekingese and Fredbear, an Australian Shepherd mix.

Marissa, Veterinary Technician Assistant
Marissa grew up in Elkhart and has always found a way to work with animals. We are so happy that she landed at Wil-O-Paw! She’s currently a great vet tech assistant but plans on going to school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. This is a result of our doctors spending a lot of time teaching the staff the science behind what we do. She loves seeing our patients grow, heal and improve so they can get back to their “sassy selves”. Her home is filled with animals: Mochi, a leopard gecko (who runs the house), 4 cats, Lennon, Baker, Bones and Winston, and an amazing, sweet, and gentle Beagle named Lucy. Marissa is our “crafty” staff member! Anything that needs reorganizing, she’s our go-to-person! At home she loves crafting and creating new things, watching movies (good and bad alike!), and playing Nintendo Switch.

Danielle, Customer Service Representative
Dani started at Wil-O-Paw as a veterinary technician but has recently switched to a CSR role. This adds a new level of medical expertise to our front desk staff. She loves the interaction she has with our wonderful clients and helping them solve any problems they are having with their pets. The added benefit of getting the first snuggles with all the puppies is great, too! Outside of work, she is busy with her daughter, Priya, boyfriend, Matt,
a yellow lab named Deacon and Carl, the cat. Dani also enjoys crocheting and building Legos.

Loralei, Customer Service Representative
Loralei joined our practice after earning her associates in veterinary science and technology in 2012. She has done many jobs here at Wil-O-Paw from cleaning to veterinary technician finally settling as a customer service representative. She does a great job at the front desk and tries hard to answer all your questions with a smile. She loves doing it all! Currently, she occupies her time home-schooling her two children, keeping her hobby farm up and running, fostering kittens for Paws of Hope and helping her father manage his business. Her hobby farm includes 2 dogs, chickens, five rabbits and a pony named Arrow.

Erika, Customer Service Representative
Erika is the friendly voice you hear answering the phone and greeting you at the desk. She brings to Wil-O-Paw 25 years of customer service experience and really enjoys her time working with our clients. Her goal to is make everyone’s experience the most memorable ever! At home, she is married with three sons, one daughter and 1 granddaughter. Her furry family includes 1 dog (Jersey is in her picture) and 1 cat. She spends a lot of time attending her children’s sporting events. Erika also loves spending time outdoors camping, kayaking, hunting, and fishing. Her hobbies include, photography, shopping, reading and bike riding.

Nadalee, Customer Service Representative
Nadalee joined Wil-O-Paw as a CSR in July of 2024. She is getting to know all our clients and loves seeing all the animals that come in the building each day. She will do her best to make your experience a pleasant one and loves helping owners and loving on all the fur babies that come in. Her own family includes her husband, and 4 dogs (three Cane Corso’s and one Pitbull). They love to go on walks together and curl up together watching television.

Samantha, Head Groomer
Samantha joined Wil-O-Paw as our talented dog groomer in April of 2021. She came to us with several years of experience with all dog breeds and does amazing work. She has a commitment and passion for grooming and strives to keep dogs healthy through regular grooming. Sam is accepting new clients and would love to meet you and your dog and figure out how to make them look fabulous! Just ask her to show you pictures of her own dogs: she has six ranging in size from a Chihuahua to Great Pyrenees! She also is a homestead farmer with lots of chickens, turkeys and other fowl running around.

Sarah, Feline Groomer
Sarah is our official feline groomer. Sarah graduated in October 2013 from the National Cat Groomers Institute of America and is one of only three certified cat groomers in Michigan. She also has graduated from the Paragon School of Pet Grooming in 2010 and Lake Michigan College with a music degree in 2013. She also volunteers at the Southwest Michigan Humane Society and is their official photographer. She also finds time to play the organ and piano at the Coloma Bible Church and loves sewing, reading, photography and taking care of her husband and two sons.

Teresa, Grooming Assistant
Teresa works with Samantha in the pet styling salon here at Wil-O-Paw. Teresa has been working in the pet grooming business for 23 years. She has been around animals all her life and grew up on a dairy farm. While not working, she enjoys playing with her cats and dogs as well as reading, needlepoint, and scrap-booking.
