Lela joined the team in August, and with her she brought a love for animals and helping people.
Before getting into vet med, she was majoring in music therapy and still has a passion for music and the joy it can bring people. Lela is an aspiring veterinary technician and is grateful for all the learning opportunities she's been granted thus far.
The thing Lela loves enjoys most about her job is meeting animals and hearing their stories as well as the owners. Lela has greatly enjoyed working at Wil-O-Paw and getting to know her teammates. Everyone is kind and welcoming, which is a value she holds deeply. Lela loves working in a women-dominated field as well as seeing how strong and independent everyone is.
Outside of work, Lela writes short stories as well as works towards drawing comics, a lifelong goal of hers. She loves playing video games with her brothers and friends, as well as spending time with her family. She has one cat, Clover, and three family pets, Sugar, Rocky, and Maple, which she loves dearly. Lela is grateful to everyone who has supported her and is delighted to continue learning and gorwing into someone who can bring care to everyone.
